Building on the success of a sold out first edition, the NYC South American Music Festival returned to Zinc Bar on January 13, 2014. With a full house, the Festival once again brought to the surface contemporary music rooted in the folklore of the countries of South America, as they borrow from each other and meet with styles from all around the globe including pop, rock, jazz, world and electronica. The NYC SAMF presented a select group of musicians representative of this movement, bringing to New York City the cutting edge of South American & South American diaspora music production.

LINE UP: Juancho Herrera (Venezuela) • Alejo García (Colombia) • Ñawi: Alex Alvear y Yarina (Ecuador) • Pedro Giraudo Big Band (Argentina) • Rebolú (Colombia)
